What are the best bol tools for sellers in 2026?
Lars HurkmansCo-founder7 October 2026Temps de lecture 17 minutes
No single bol tool is the best for every seller: which one you need depends on what you want to solve. For product research and store analysis you choose a data platform such as MarktMentor, Rylee or Zoloo (formerly Boloo), and for invoices, shipping or stock a specialist with a bol integration, alongside the free insights in your seller account.

We make MarktMentor, so we’re not a neutral party. That’s why the tools are listed alphabetically per task, without a ranking. We describe each tool based on what the provider says about it and what bol lists in its partner directory. We checked prices and partner levels on 2 October 2026.
Which bol tool do you use for which task?
Each task calls for a different kind of tool. For everything that runs on market data, such as product research, profit, findability and advertising, you use a data platform. For tasks that are separate from that, such as bookkeeping, shipping and a customer service inbox, you usually do better with a specialist.
| Task | At bol itself | Tools to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Product and market research | Search trends (Zoektrends) in your seller account | MarktMentor, Rylee, Zoloo |
| Profit per product | Sales analysis (Verkoopanalyse) and the sales invoice from bol | Bolmate, FiveX, MarktMentor, Rylee |
| Advertising | Sponsored Products and Branded Shelves | Adyard, FiveX, MarktMentor |
| Listing and content | Writing tips on the partner platform | MarktMentor, Sellerly, Zoloo |
| Invoices and VAT | The sales invoice from bol | Specialists: Bolmate, e-Boekhouden, Moneybird, Staxxer, Winkelfactuur. In a data platform: MarktMentor, Rylee, Sellerly, Zoloo |
| Review requests | The rules for review requests on the partner platform | Bolmate, FiveX, MarktMentor, Rylee, Sellerly, Winkelfactuur, Zoloo |
| Customer questions | Customer questions in your seller account | Belco, MarktMentor, Trengo, Zoloo |
| Price and buy box | Adjusting your price yourself in your seller account | Channable, EffectConnect, rePricer |
| Multiple sales channels | The Retailer API | Channable, ChannelEngine, EffectConnect, FiveX, Picqer |
| Shipping and storage | Shipping via bol and Logistics via bol | Monta, MyParcel, Sendcloud |
What does bol itself offer?
Every seller gets free insight into their own sales, visits and conversion in the bol seller account, and can connect other software through the Retailer API at no cost. For advertising, shipping and storage you pay to use bol’s services.
- Sales analysis shows your visits, your conversion and your revenue excluding VAT. According to the explanation on the partner platform, bol only measures conversion over the period in which you have the buy box.
- Sales insights (Verkoopinzicht) gives you, per item, the sales, the buy box percentage, the stock, a sales forecast and the position in the search results.
- Search trends shows how often customers search for a given term.
- The Retailer API is free. According to the terms of use, you "owe no fee" to bol. You do need a technical contact in your seller account.
- Sponsored Products and Branded Shelves are bol’s advertising formats. You pay per click, and the item must have the buy box. Branded Shelves is only available to a registered brand owner.
- Shipping via bol (VVB) and Logistics via bol (LVB) differ in who does the work. With VVB you pack yourself and bol handles the shipping. With LVB, bol also handles storage, customer questions and returns.
- The Partner Academy offers e-learnings and webinars, including on Sponsored Products and VVB.
What you see in the seller account is about your own offers. Especially as a starter, you compete with sellers who already have a sales history and reviews, and you want to know before you buy stock how big a market is and how much your competitors sell. For that you need a tool with market-wide estimates.
What changed in bol’s data in 2026?
Three changes in 2026 affect everyone who works with bol data, both in the seller account and in external tools.
- A new measurement system. Since 6 January, bol has measured advertising and e-commerce data according to the standards of IAB Europe. Search volumes, visits, conversion and buy box percentages may therefore come out differently than before. Data from before 2026 has not been recalculated. If you compare 2025 with 2026, your figures may contain a trend break that has nothing to do with your market.
- The quality score. Since 24 June, the quality score (kwaliteitsscore) has counted towards the buy box, as the successor to the performance score. The score looks at 22 weeks instead of 6, and at five service standards instead of three: returns and customer questions now count too.
- Relevance in the cost per click. Since August, relevance has played a more direct role in the cost per click of Sponsored Products. Your bid remains your maximum cost per click, and the way ads are shown doesn’t change.
Which tool do you use for product research on bol?
For product research you use a data platform that shows sales estimates, search volumes and competition per product and per market. Three platforms that focus on this are MarktMentor, Rylee and Zoloo. They start at around the same price, between €25 and €30 per month, and differ mainly in approach and in what the package includes besides research.
Bol doesn’t share exact sales figures of other sellers with external parties, so each tool estimates them in its own way. When choosing, look at how the data is collected, how far back the history goes and whether that history rests on the same method. The number of products a provider mentions says little about that; what matters more is whether your category is well covered. The six criteria are worked out in How do you choose a product research tool for bol?
MarktMentor
MarktMentor is the platform we make. It tracks more than 7 million products on bol and is built to assess an entire market before you buy stock, not just individual products. The research rests on four things:
- Specific sales estimates with an unbroken history. MarktMentor moved away from the shopping cart method before bol tightened up in November 2024, and has worked with its own method since. You get a specific estimate per product instead of a range, and the historical series runs on the same method over multiple years. This lets you add up estimates to the size of a market and compare seasons across years.
- A market from three connected angles. Categories (market size, conversion, returns, seasonal patterns), keywords (search volume, competition, advertising costs) and products (sales, price development, sellers, reviews) are linked to each other. From a keyword you click through to the products that sell on it, and from a product to the keywords that bring in traffic.
- Your own research on a selection of products. In the Product Radar you split a selection by brand, price range, package size or delivery time. You then see, among other things, who wins the buy box and at what price, how the reviews are distributed across the market and how likely it is that a newcomer reaches a goal, such as a number of sales or reviews.
- The same data after launch. Once you’re selling, you use the same data to track your organic positions separately from sponsored ones, your profit per product and your market share per category. You can have your ad bids adjusted based on your organic positions.
If you first want to see how that research works in practice, you can watch the free video series on market research on bol: ten chapters, with two example products from start to finish. MarktMentor is a bol Gold Partner. According to our own customer data, MarktMentor customers together generated more than €750 million in revenue on bol in 2025.
- Best for: private label sellers who want to understand a market thoroughly before buying stock, and then want to manage their store and ads on the same data.
- Price: from €29 per month excl. VAT for product research and the Chrome extension. Store insights, email campaigns and invoicing are included in the packages from €49 per month excl. VAT (€39 with annual billing). 14 days free, and the trial stops automatically.
- Good to know: MarktMentor is not an accounting package and not a repricer. For those tasks you combine it with a specialist.
Rylee
Rylee presents itself as an all-in-one package for growing on bol, Amazon and your own webshop, with AI, data and a community. The package includes, among other things, a product database and product tracker, a search volume database, a profit calculator, a ranking tracker, sales dashboards, email campaigns, VAT invoices, a repricer and Sponsored Products management. Rylee is a bol Gold Partner and says it has more than 12,000 customers.
- Best for: sellers who also sell on Amazon or through their own webshop alongside bol and want everything in one subscription.
- Price: individual packages from €25 per month, including a Starter package with unlimited product research. The all-in-one package costs €49 per month excl. VAT, or €33.25 per month with annual billing (€399 up front). 14 days free.
- Good to know: according to its own pricing page, Rylee charges no order fees.

Zoloo (formerly Boloo)
Zoloo, previously called Boloo, combines tools for product research and store management with courses, coaching and a community. On its own site, Zoloo mentions, among other things, a Product Tracker, a Niche Explorer, a Keyword Verkenner and an Alibaba Scanner that links bol products to offers on Alibaba. The package also includes a repricer, a listing generator, automatic invoicing, email campaigns and AI-powered customer service. Zoloo says it serves more than 10,000 sellers.
- Best for: starters who want to combine a tool with courses and a community, and who want to link product research and sourcing through Alibaba.
- Price: from €29.95 per month, or €199 per year. 30 days free.
- Good to know: many reviews, comparisons and videos are still listed under the name Boloo. The old site boloo.co redirects to zoloo.co.

Which tool shows how much profit you make per product?
For your profit per product you use a profit tool such as Bolmate, FiveX, MarktMentor or Rylee. A profit tool combines bol’s costs (commission, shipping, ads, returns) with your own purchase price and works out, per product or per order, what’s left net. Keep in mind that, according to the explanation of the sales invoice, the amount bol pays out still includes VAT that you have to remit yourself.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (2 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Bolmate (Gold Partner) | Automating invoices, VAT and review emails, with a profit dashboard included | €15 per month excl. VAT, up to 200 orders |
| FiveX (Gold Partner) | Brands that also sell on Amazon, eBay, Kaufland or OTTO and want to see profit per item and per marketplace | Free up to 500 orders per month |
| MarktMentor (Gold Partner) | Seeing profit, advertising costs and market position per product side by side | €49 per month excl. VAT (€39 with annual billing) |
| Rylee (Gold Partner) | Tracking profit in the same package as your product research | Individual packages from €25 per month; all-in-one €49 per month excl. VAT |
If you want to know before buying stock whether a product will be profitable, you calculate that with a calculator that takes all bol costs into account, such as the extended Profit Calculator.
On 2 October 2026, MarktMentor, Rylee and Zoloo also had an MCP connection for your own store data. MCP is an open standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT request data from another app. You then ask the assistant questions about, for example, your sales, profit, stock or ads, without making an export first.
Which tools help with advertising on bol?
Advertising tools such as Adyard, FiveX Advertising and MarktMentor find keywords, adjust bids and show what an ad earns per product. The advertising itself always runs through bol’s advertising platform, where you pay per click. A tool mainly saves time once you advertise many products at once. Since the change in August 2026, bol has recommended working on ads that closely match what customers search for.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (2 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Adyard (Silver Partner) | Brands and agencies that want to combine advertising software with guidance from specialists | See Adyard’s site |
| FiveX Advertising (Gold Partner) | Automating advertising on multiple marketplaces from one environment | See FiveX’s site |
| MarktMentor (Gold Partner) | Choosing a goal per product and having keywords and bids adjusted automatically | Ad insights from €69 per month excl. VAT; automation with a tiered rate based on ad revenue |
Channable, Rylee and Zoloo also list Sponsored Products management as part of their package. How the auction behind the ads works and how your listing weighs in on what you pay per click is explained in How does bol’s advertising system (Sponsored Products) really work?
Which tool helps you write a better listing?
For titles and descriptions you use a listing tool such as MarktMentor’s Listing Builder, Sellerly’s content assistant or Zoloo’s Listing Generator AI. A listing tool writes a text based on the keywords customers search for on bol. According to bol’s writing tips, the product information from the seller with the highest score goes live automatically, so besides the text, also make sure your specifications are complete and correct.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (2 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| MarktMentor (Gold Partner) | Having a title and description drafted based on keywords from your own market, with the Listing Builder and the Keyword Guide | Included in the packages |
| Sellerly (Silver Partner) | An AI writing assistant that tailors content to bol’s algorithm, with review requests and invoices in the same package | €29 per month |
| Zoloo | Using the Listing Generator AI within a Zoloo subscription | Included in the packages |
Which tool do you use for invoices and VAT?
For invoices and VAT you use an invoicing tool with a bol integration, such as Bolmate or Winkelfactuur, a data platform that includes invoices, such as MarktMentor, or an accounting package that imports bol orders, such as e-Boekhouden or Moneybird. As a seller on bol, you give business customers a correct invoice and you remit the VAT on your sales yourself. If you sell to consumers in other EU countries, the OSS scheme also applies to you.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (2 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Bolmate (Gold Partner) | VAT invoices, help with the VAT return and review emails in one tool | €15 per month excl. VAT, up to 200 orders |
| e-Boekhouden | Importing bol orders directly into your bookkeeping | €9.95 per month |
| MarktMentor (Gold Partner) | Having customer invoices created automatically alongside your store and profit data | From €49 per month excl. VAT (€39 with annual billing) |
| Moneybird | An accounting package with integrations for bol and webshops | €3 per month for small-scale bookkeeping |
| Staxxer (Silver Partner) | Selling to multiple EU countries, with international VAT and EPR outsourced | Free below 200 transactions per month |
| Winkelfactuur | Invoices for bol, Amazon, Shopify and WooCommerce in one place | €9 per month excl. VAT, up to 100 invoices |
Rylee, Sellerly and Zoloo also create invoices within their package. What you need to declare and when is covered in How do you handle VAT, invoices and the OSS scheme as a seller on bol?
Which tools help with reviews and customer questions?
There are two kinds of tools for reviews and customer questions. An email tool sends a review request along with the invoice email; you can do this with Bolmate, FiveX, MarktMentor’s Email campaigns, Rylee, Sellerly, Winkelfactuur and Zoloo, among others. For customer questions there are tools that let you handle the questions from your seller account outside bol, such as Belco, MarktMentor, Trengo and Zoloo.
Which tools send review requests within bol’s rules?
Strict rules from bol apply to review requests. You may ask for an honest review, and you must then literally use the Dutch words eerlijke beoordeling in the email. The request may not lead to an extra email to the customer, and you may not steer the rating or content of the review. A review request in a separate email is not allowed. Other ways to get reviews within the rules are covered in How do you get more reviews on bol?
| Tool | Best for |
|---|---|
| Bolmate (Gold Partner) | Review emails together with VAT invoices and help with the VAT return |
| FiveX (Gold Partner) | Email workflows alongside profit and advertising data, for brands on multiple marketplaces |
| MarktMentor (Gold Partner) | Sending the invoice and an honest review request in one email |
| Rylee (Gold Partner) | Email campaigns within the all-in-one package |
| Sellerly (Silver Partner) | Review requests alongside content and invoices |
| Winkelfactuur | Review emails alongside invoices for bol, Amazon, Shopify and WooCommerce |
| Zoloo | Email campaigns within a Zoloo subscription |
You’ll find the prices of these tools under the other tasks in this article.
Which tools help with customer questions?
A customer service tool brings the customer questions from your seller account together in one place, often alongside your other channels, so you answer them from one environment. According to Belco and Trengo, bol first has to activate the integration with your seller account for you. Since June 2026, customer questions have counted towards bol’s quality score.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (2 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Belco | Webshops that handle bol questions alongside their own customer service | €45 per agent per month with annual billing, plus €299 one-off |
| MarktMentor (Gold Partner) | Viewing and answering customer questions in the dashboard or the app, with a draft answer from AI | Included in the packages |
| Trengo | Teams that serve many channels at once, such as email, chat and marketplaces | €299 per month on an annual contract, for 10 users |
| Zoloo | Having AI suggest answers to customer questions, within a Zoloo subscription | Included in the packages |
Do you need a repricer to win the buy box?
Only if you sell a product that other sellers also offer. A repricer automatically adjusts your price within limits you set, with the aim of getting the buy box more often. If you sell your own brand with its own EAN, you’re usually the only seller and a repricer does little for you. Since June 2026, the buy box has also depended on the quality score, so on your delivery, returns and customer questions.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (2 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Channable (Gold Partner) | Sellers who already use Channable for their product feed and want the repricer as an add-on | Paid add-on, see Channable’s site |
| EffectConnect (Gold Partner) | Having prices set based on costs and competition, across multiple European marketplaces | Add-ons from €30 per month, on top of the platform |
| rePricer | Resellers looking for a standalone repricer for bol | €19 per month |
FiveX, Rylee and Zoloo also include repricing in their package. Whichever repricer you choose, set a minimum price taken from your profit calculation, so the tool doesn’t push your price below your costs.
Which tool do you use if you also sell outside bol?
If you also sell through your own webshop, Amazon or other marketplaces, you use a tool for multiple sales channels. Channable, ChannelEngine and EffectConnect keep your product information, stock and orders in one place and connect to bol through the Retailer API. FiveX focuses on your profit, ads and prices across multiple marketplaces. These tools are made for larger product ranges and are often priced by revenue, orders or number of products. If you have your own warehouse, you add warehouse software such as Picqer.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (2 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Channable (Gold Partner) | Sending product feeds and listings to bol and dozens of other channels | See Channable’s site |
| ChannelEngine (Gold Partner) | Brands, retailers and wholesalers with many marketplaces | Custom: a setup fee plus a licence based on revenue and number of items |
| EffectConnect (Gold Partner) | Managing multiple European marketplaces from one platform | €305 per month for 1,000 EANs and 500 orders |
| FiveX (Gold Partner) | Tracking profit, ads and prices on bol, Amazon, eBay, Kaufland and OTTO from one environment | Free up to 500 orders per month |
| Picqer (Gold Partner) | Managing stock and order picking in your own warehouse | €379 per month excl. VAT |
Which tool do you use for shipping and fulfilment?
You arrange shipping through bol itself or with shipping software such as MyParcel or Sendcloud. With Shipping via bol you pack yourself and bol handles the shipping; with Logistics via bol, bol also handles storage, customer questions and returns. Shipping software mainly makes sense if you also sell outside bol or have your own carrier contracts. If you want to outsource storage and order processing completely, you look at a fulfilment provider such as Monta.
Since 1 January 2026, LVB has charged a 100% surcharge on the storage rate for stock that has been stored for more than 180 days.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (2 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Monta | Fully outsourcing storage and order processing | On request |
| MyParcel (Gold Partner) | Importing bol orders and printing shipping labels for multiple carriers | See MyParcel’s site |
| Sendcloud (Gold Partner) | Automatically importing bol orders and using VVB labels alongside your own carriers | Free plan, you pay per label |
Which of bol’s shipping options suits you is covered in Shipping via bol: which shipping option suits you?
Do you choose an all-in-one tool or separate specialists?
An all-in-one tool works best when the components share the same data, for example if you want to put product research, profit and findability side by side. For tasks that are separate from your market data, such as bookkeeping, shipping or a customer service inbox, a specialist is often the better choice. A workable setup is one data platform, supplemented by a specialist for the tasks that fall outside it.
When you combine tools, watch out for overlap. Invoices and review requests are part of many packages at once. If you let two tools both send an invoice email with a review request, the customer gets an extra email, and bol doesn’t allow that.
Which combination suits your stage?
Which tools you need shifts as your store grows. Per stage, a setup can look like this:
| Stage | What you need | Example setup |
|---|---|---|
| Orienting, not selling yet | Product research and a profit calculation before buying stock | A data platform for product research, such as MarktMentor, Rylee or Zoloo |
| First products live | Invoices, review requests, profit per product and findability | A data platform with store insights, plus Shipping via bol |
| Growing private label brand | Advertising, rankings and market share | A data platform with ad management, possibly Logistics via bol |
| Multiple channels or your own warehouse | Feed and stock management and shipping software | A tool for multiple sales channels, warehouse software and a shipping tool |
| Reseller on shared EANs | Price monitoring and the buy box | A repricer with a minimum price from your profit calculation |
What should you look for when choosing a bol tool?
Choose a tool for what it solves for your task, and only look at the price after that. Five points help when comparing.
- Partner status at bol. Bol assesses partners on knowledge of bol, support for features, a reliable integration and secure data processing, and has four levels: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Ambassador. You check the level of each party in the directory.
- Data method and history. With a data platform: how are the estimates made, and is the history based on the same method? Also take into account the trend break caused by bol’s new measurement system in 2026.
- Pricing model. A fixed price per month, a price per order or invoice, or a percentage of your revenue. Work out what the tool costs at the volume you expect a year from now.
- Trial period. For the three data platforms in this article, the free trial lasts 14 or 30 days. Check whether the trial stops automatically or turns into a paid subscription.
- Guidance. A tool helps more if you understand which decision you’re making with the figures. Check whether there are explanations, articles or videos that are up to date for 2026.
How did we put this list together?
We included tools that were active on 2 October 2026, mention an integration with bol and make clear on their own site what they do. The descriptions are based on those sites and on bol’s partner directory. We haven’t used every tool ourselves. As the starting price we list the lowest regular monthly price as the provider states it, with "excl. VAT" where the provider indicates that. Prices change, so check them on the provider’s site before you choose.
A few tools from older overviews were unreachable when we checked or no longer focus on bol; we left those out. If you think a tool that belongs here is missing, let us know. We update this list periodically.
